Bloo Rafferty is a unique roots rock reggae sound from the woods of New Hampshire. After several disappointing attempts at joining functioning reggae bands in the New England area, Bloo decided it was time to create a solo effort. He purchased his own recording equipment and drum machine and set to work on his debut album “Point Blank Politics”.

The music has been described as a new blend of classic 70s roots rock reggae and modern alternative rock. An assorted collection of horns, keyboards, percussive instruments, and guitars have been used to produce the new album. Songs featured in Point Blank Politics have received airplay on the University of New Hampshire’s Mad Lion Reggae Show. Bloo has performed at concerts with such acts as the Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, the Soldiers of Jay Army, Roots Nation, and Danny Klein.

Bloo will be releasing Point Blank Politics in April 2010. Whether recording in the studio or playing live, Bloo is committed to spreading his love for roots rock reggae music.
